Biting OFF a Little More Than We Can Chew. . .

Posted by federal way undressed No Comments »

Do you feel like you might be biting off more than you can chew?

I had to pay tribute to this article from Issaquah Undressed and to the picture once I saw it.  How often do we at times feel this way in our personal life, work life and all the other little lifes we have.  At times in Real Estate that is definitely how it feels.  And Larry in his artical “A Real Estate Question” expresses it well.  I found myself recently working very hard to find a great home for my clients.  What should have been a treasure hunt became more of a search for sunken treasure and a moment of wondering “what should we do now”  because it was hard to stay in the parameters of budget and yet meet their needs.  Neither one of us gave up and a happy ending came as a promised rainbow.   That’s when it feels good to be a real estate agent.  Thanks again Larry for these little reminders.

A Small Plug for Lady of America Fitness Center

Posted by federal way undressed No Comments »

I have to mention this little fitness center.  It is by the Metropolitan Market where 312th and Dash Point intersect.  This workout place isn’t that close to me but I like checking out gymns and such.  So, I bounced in one day when I was through visiting “another” store.  Yes, it is for women only and that is part of the appeal.  But I must say everyone was very friendly and the manager was personable, very gracious and nice.  She made it all sound fun.  Oh, plus, they have an infrared sauna.  That is what initially caught my attention.  So, ladies if you live close to this neck of the woods check them out.  They give out free passes.

Tucked in by Hill Creek is the Stone Creek Development

Posted by federal way undressed 2 Comments »

The entrance may be a little cumbersome but you have some high quality houses here.  You have to go in through Hill Creek or Kings Grove to get to Stone Creek but eventually that will change.  And yes, some of the houses are right up against the Enchanted Parkway but a future sound barrier should help the noise level.  The neighborhood is small but people enjoy living there.

Just another Enchanted Neighborhood of Federal Way!

The Super Wal-Mart in Federal Way

Posted by federal way undressed No Comments »

Actually, it is the Wal*Mart Super Center and I have to say it is one popular place and they do seem to have everything.  It has been interesting to watch this section of Federal Way turn around and grow.  Right off of highway 18 and the Enchanted Parkway intersection we are creating our own little 4 corners.  And they are not so little.  On one corner you have the well established Costco and across the street we have now established the Crossings corner.  Jump across that to what I call the auto section with the 76 station, Walt’s. . .  oh but I forget it is a little hodge podge there because we have our imfamous Patteson’s West Skating Rink finishing the triangle.  Then across from that is the 4th corner, home to the new Wal Mart.  All the businesses seem to be thriving and it makes things very exciting as you watch the growth of Federal Way South.

Check it OUT!!!
