Hamburgers! Some of the best are in Federal Way!
I know everyone has been talking about the “Fat Burger” in the new Crossings complex I spoke of earlier. And, yes they are pretty good. But, my all time favorite is the independently owned “Burger Express”. If you are not on the right side of the street when you see it, it is very much worth the U-turn at the next stop light to get to it. They are doing some upgrading on their floor right now but it is very quaint with that little bee-bop juke box feel. My favorite hamburger is the good old bacon cheese burger. Please don’t forget the bacon. I love their fish sandwiches and they have great milk shakes (try the raspberry). Now, I must say, I do absolutely love the Fat Burger’s milkshakes. I am known to grab a chocolate one from there alone from time to time.
With all this talk about the Crossings and all the fancy new stores I just couldn’t let one of the best known secrets go unnoticed! Oh, and people love their french fries. They do them the old fashioned way, thin with the skins on. I am not a big french fry fan but I do carb up a little now and then.
And they have a drive thru!
