Have you ever been to Snoqualmie Falls? It is only 30 minutes away from Federal Way!
What is so nice about this little trip is one, of course, how close it is to Federal Way. The other is that you can take a little hike down to the bottom of the falls and hop across the rocks and play in the water. Plus, you get to feel the mist from the falls on your face. You do have to hike back up but the pathways are very visitor friendly.
You can spend time looking at the views from the top and then choose more interesting views when you get to the bottom.
This huddled group looked a little ho-hum until this cute guy got adventuresome.
There was just so much fun to be had!
