Federal Way’s New Century Theaters!
Yes, it’s true. The Century Theater opened July 2, 2007. You may have noticed all the construction around the SeaTac Mall which is very exciting. This little mall has needed a little punch. I was always kind of sad to see various retailers leave and close their doors to this Federal Way Mall and now after some up-lifts it is starting to see action again. Part of that action is the opening of this new fabulous theater. I was quite impressed with the entrance from inside the mall. In fact, I felt kind of clueless at first when I was out running some errands and decided to hit the mall. I decided to take a stroll and low and behold the area was wide open. There were actual patrons standing in line. It was so nice to have this additional sparkle to the SeaTac Mall.
Now, I have to say, I like to patronize the Galaxy Theaters and I was concerned about how they would fair with this new gang buster coming. But they have a very positive attitude and will be catering to the family. The films may not be the latest but they hope to draw people with budgets suited for the family.
I love the movies. And it is my hope that both theaters will be successful!
